AS9120 QMS for Aerospace Product Distributors
AS 9120 is for use by organizations that procure parts, materials and assemblies, and sells these products to a customer in the Aerospace industry and requires suppliers to focus on areas such as traceability, control of records, airworthiness certificates, splitting, and evidence of conformance.

ANSI/ESD S20.20
Certification of an Electrostatic Discharge Control (ESD) Program using control methods to protect devices down to 100v of less. ESD is the common occurrence of a momentary electrical shock given off by a person or virtually any 'charged' object. Unprotected electronic components can very easily be damaged or rendered defective by such charges.

Since 1995, ERAI has been the industry's primary reporting and investigation service, providing information and risk mitigation solutions to electronics professionals worldwide. ERAI is comprised of Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Distributors (franchised and independent), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), government agencies and associations serving the industry.

GOVERNMENT-INDUSTRY DATA EXCHANGE PROGRAM (GIDEP)
GIDEP is a cooperative activity between government and industry participants seeking to reduce or eliminate expenditures of resources by sharing technical information. Since 1959, over $2.1 BILLION in prevention of unplanned expenditures has been reported.

G-19D SUB-COMMITTEE MEMBER
SolTec Electronics sits on the G19D committee, which is currently drafting the new AS6081 standard for detecting and avoiding counterfeit components.
AS6081 standardizes requirements, practices, and methods related to: supplier management, procurement, and inspection, test/evaluation, and response strategies when suspect or confirmed counterfeit electronic parts are discovered. AS6081 will be the recognized standard for all electronics distribution in the near future.

SolTec Electronics is a corporate member of the Space Coast Surface Mount Technology Association. The SMTA membership is an international network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies, including microsystems, emerging technologies, and related business operations.
