We are proud to announce our corporate volunteer & philanthropy program:
SolTec Electronics CARES! (Community Action Resource Encouraging Service)
All employees and officers of SolTec Electronics are encouraged to select a local cause of their choice to become involved with. They will receive a full 8 hour paid day off to volunteer for their chosen cause. Afterwards, they will do a write-up about the cause, why it is important to them, what their volunteering entailed, and how others in the community can also become involved. The write-ups will be published on www.soltecelectronics.com as well as on all of our social media outlets including Twitter, Facebook, & LinkedIn. Finally, once the volunteer hours and write-up are complete, SolTec Electronics will make a monetary donation to the local charity on behalf of the company and the employee!
Through this program, we intend to personally & positively affect local community causes via monetary and labor donations as well as help bring more awareness to the cause. Additionally, our employees shall develop a deeper tie to the community and gain a personal sense of satisfaction through their altruism. They will also further develop their leadership skills as each employee will spearhead their project cause on their own, with little guidance from management. We hope our employees will take great pride in working for a company that is part of the solution!
If you are involved with a local charity and would like to be considered for this program or future programs that our company shall be involved in, than please contact Dawn Gluskin, CEO, at dgluskin@soltecelectroics.com. We feel it is important to give back to the community and love to help out any way within our means!
