2008

A true entrepreneur story, SolTec Electronics was founded in July, 2008 by Dawn Gluskin, an industry veteran who leveraged seven years of industry experience and relationships to start and grow this business from the ground up armed with just a phone, computer, personal funding sources, and limitless ambition and motivation!
2009

Moved out of home office into office suite

Hired first several employees

Revenues grew rapidly, just shy of $1 million
2010

Tripled revenues over 2009

Total of 11 employees

Winner of Make Mine a Million Dollar Business Award sponsored by American Express OPEN and Count Me In, recognized for rapid and explosive business growth

Featured in many publications including First Monday Magazine (May Cover Story), Florida Today, SpaceCoast Business, and Orlando Sentinel

SolTec Labs, sister company for component testing and IC decapsulation, was born
2011

Became ISO9001 & ANSI/ESD S20.20 Certified

15 employees as of Q2

Launched Independent Distibutor

Doubled warehouse and office space, expanding into new facility

Expansion of SolTec Labs and testing capabilities

Chosen for Florida Economic Gardening Pilot Program and GrowFL Technical Assistance Program, recognized for explosive growth and potential to expand Aersospace capabilities on Florida's Space Coast
