We now offer in-house Decapsulation & Die Authentication Service!

Decapsulation (aka delidding/decapping) is a process of opening the packaging of an integrated circuit to expose the die for authentication and analysis. This is just another tool available to further detect and combat the occurence of counterfeiting in the electonic component supply chain. Our Decapsulation Specialist Technician, Don Davis, is an expert in the field who has been performing these services for 8+ years. Service includes decapsulation of IC with optical images of the die surface and its die markings. Contact us for more details!
