SolTec Electronics is ISO 9001:2008 certified for our quality management system & ANSI/ESD S20.20 certified for our electrostatic discharge program.  We are one of a small percentage of independent distributors to have both certifications!  We are currently working hard towards our AS9120 certification for aerospace, which shall be acheived by Q4, 2011.

Our quality commitment begins with our procurement process, which consists of a strict vendor approval process and continual rating system.  We only buy from the best and most reputable suppliers in the business. All of our vendors are carefully screened prior to approval and given an ongoing performance analysis to determine their supplier rating. Our vendors must maintain an acceptable rating in our system in order to stay on our approved vendor list (AVL).

We continue our commitment to quality with our receiving and inspection process, which is in accordance with IDEA STD1010-A. Upon receipt of material, the packing material is inspected and the parts are compared to the manufacturers data sheet specifications. We further enhance our visual inspection with the use a high-powered microscope to check for any signs of the parts being improperly stored, used, or in any way suspecting of counterfeiting. If any non-conformances are discovered in the visual inspection stage, than the parts are turned over to SolTec Labs, our on-site testing facility, for further analysis including decapsulatoin for die analysis, and ICC counterfeit detection electrical testing.  This is all done at no cost to the customer!!  QC reports are available to our customers and digital images of the parts are permanently documented in our database. For extremely sensitive purchases, full-scale functionality test can be administered for additional cost and lead-time.
